Let me paint you a picture:
You’re out for a ride. It’s a decent day, the bike’s running nicely, and you’re enjoying the road. Then, a few miles further on, you come across something you really didn’t want to see.
A bike on its side. A rider down. And suddenly, you’re not just another person passing by.
You’re first on scene – Would you know what to do?
It’s an uncomfortable question, isn’t it?
But knowing what to do after something has gone wrong is something many of us simply haven’t thought about.
Most of us spend plenty of time learning how to ride. We think about braking, cornering, positioning and spotting hazards. We buy the right kit, keep the bike maintained and hopefully ride with a bit of common sense.
And that’s exactly why Biker Down exists.
Biker Down Staffordshire is back
The next Biker Down Staffordshire Workshop is coming to Staffordshire Honda on the 27th September 2026.
It’s not about turning you into a paramedic overnight. It’s about giving riders (and pillion passengers) the knowledge and confidence to deal with the sort of situation none of us wants to encounter. Because when a crash happens, those first few minutes can matter.
- You might be the person who arrives before the emergency services.
- You might be the one making the call.
- You might be the person who has to decide what happens next.
And when adrenaline is doing its thing and everyone around you is shouting, panicking or simply standing there wondering what to do, having some idea of what you’re doing can make a huge difference.

Why attend the workshop?
A Biker Down Staffordshire Workshop is your chance to learn some genuinely useful skills, ask questions and meet other riders who think being prepared is worth the effort.
Oh, and I’ll be there too, so come and say hi.
Knowing what to do in those crucial first few minutes after a motorcycle incident can make a real difference.
Biker Down is designed to give riders the practical skills and confidence to respond safely and effectively at the scene of a crash.
The workshop covers three main modules:
- Rider skills
- Scene safety
- Casualty care
