Spend any amount of time riding around the UK at the moment and you will likely notice something interesting. CFMOTO motorcycles are appearing more frequently than ever before.

What was just a few years ago seen as a relatively unknown brand is quickly gaining attention, particularly in the adventure and touring segment. The reason is fairly straightforward. CFMOTO has introduced a range of well-equipped motorcycles at prices that are noticeably lower than many of the established competitors.

For riders who want modern technology, solid performance, and practical touring ability without stretching into five-figure territory, these machines are starting to look like very sensible options.

The brand’s adventure touring line-up currently centres around three models that cover a wide spread of experience levels and riding styles.

CFMOTO 450MT

The 450MT represents the entry point into the brand’s adventure touring range, but it is far from basic.

Powered by a 449.5cc parallel twin engine producing around 31kW of power and approximately 42Nm of torque, the bike delivers performance that is well suited to A2 licence holders as well as riders looking for a manageable mid-capacity machine.

The engine uses a 270-degree crank design and is paired with a six-speed gearbox, giving the bike a strong and usable spread of torque. With a dry weight of roughly 175kg and an accessible riding position, it aims to be manageable for a wide range of riders.

From a touring and moderate off-road perspective, the specification is impressive for the price. The bike features KYB suspension with around 200mm of travel, a 21-inch front wheel paired with an 18-inch rear, switchable traction control, ABS and a modern TFT display.

From a styling point of view, the 450MT is a incredibly attractive motorcycle. Its proportions are well judged, giving it a confident and purposeful stance without making the bike look oversized or heavy. The design has a tough, durable feel that fits naturally within the adventure touring category, blending visual appeal with a sense of practicality and strength.

The headline here though is the value for money – with a UK starting price of £5,699 + OTR costs, the 450MT provides a very affordable entry point into the adventure bike category. It also comes with a 4-year parts and labour warranty.

CFMOTO 700MT

Moving up the range brings the 700MT into focus. This model is designed for riders who want more power and improved touring ability while keeping costs under control.

The bike uses a 693cc parallel twin engine producing around 50kW of power and roughly 60Nm of torque. This provides noticeably stronger performance for motorway riding and longer distance travel.

The 700MT is built with touring comfort in mind. A large fuel tank, upright ergonomics and a protective windscreen make it suitable for covering long distances. Modern rider technology including a colour TFT display, ABS and traction control ensures it keeps pace with current expectations.

Despite its increased capacity and touring focus, the starting price in the UK sits at £6,199 + OTR costs. That positions it firmly within the middleweight adventure category while remaining very competitively priced and again the 700MT comes with a 4-year parts and labour warranty included.

CFMOTO 800MT-X

At the top of the current touring range sits the 800MT-X, a larger adventure machine aimed at riders who want stronger performance and more advanced features.

The bike is powered by a 799cc parallel twin engine delivering roughly 70kW of power and around 87Nm of torque. This gives it the performance needed for long distance travel, two-up riding and carrying luggage.

The equipment list moves further into premium territory as well. Riders can expect features such as multiple riding modes, traction control systems, cruise control, and a large modern display with connectivity functions.

Even with this level of technology, the starting price with4 year parts and labour warranty sits keenly priced at £6,999 + OTR costs in the UK, which keeps it extremely competitive within the adventure touring segment.

Why Riders Are Paying Attention

Motorcycle buyers have traditionally favoured long-established brands, but value for money is becoming increasingly important. CFMOTO offers bikes with many features found on premium motorcycles at much more accessible prices. While comparable midweight adventure bikes often exceed £10,000 – and larger models can surpass £15,000 -CFMOTO delivers strong build quality, ride comfort and equipment that exceed expectations, making them an increasingly attractive option.

A Brand That Is Clearly Growing

Adventure bikes remain one of the most popular segments, with riders looking for machines that can handle commuting, long-distance touring and occasional rough roads. CFMOTO has recognised this demand, offering versatile motorcycles that are gaining attention across the UK. Dealer interest and the growing number of CFMOTO bikes on the roads reflect this momentum. The range is set to expand further with the 1000MT-X, expected later in 2026 as the flagship model. Featuring a 997cc parallel-twin engine, long-travel suspension, a 21-inch front wheel, and advanced rider aids, it promises to deliver the same value-focused approach as the rest of the line-up, making it an appealing option for riders seeking larger adventure machines.

Final Thoughts

The growing presence of CFMOTO motorcycles in the UK does not appear to be a short-term trend. By combining modern styling, competitive specifications and aggressive pricing, the brand has positioned itself as a serious contender in the adventure touring market.

For riders who want a capable and well-equipped motorcycle without stepping into the higher price brackets often associated with the category, CFMOTO’s bikes present a compelling option.

It will be fascinating to see how the UK motorcycle market responds as CFMOTO continues to grow. By offering feature-packed adventure bikes at competitive prices, they are challenging long-standing assumptions about cost and value in the segment. If this momentum keeps up, CFMOTO could soon become an even more common sight on British roads, and established manufacturers may have to step up, offering more features, sharper pricing, or new models to stay competitive. For riders, this is great news – more choice and better value across the adventure touring range.
