I’ve had the EnduroL8NAV tower fitted to my Honda CRF300L for quite some time now, and it has become one of those upgrades and modifications that I almost forget is there. That, to me, is usually the sign of a good motorcycle modification. It does its job quietly and reliably while blending naturally into the bike’s overall character.

Manufactured by Adventure Men Cave, I purchased the tower in the UK from the team at WrenchRide The installation was straightforward, and once fitted, the system felt immediately solid and well integrated with the CRF300L’s lightweight adventure styling.

Built for Real Miles, Real Riding

What has impressed me most is how well this product has stood up to genuine use. This is not a bike that lives an easy life. I have put many miles on the EnduroL8NAV setup across a mixture of riding conditions, including long road rides, country lanes, commuting, and of course green laning and off-road adventure use.

During that time, the bike has also taken several drops in the dirt, which is always the real test of any dual-sport or adventure motorcycle component. Despite this, the tower screen, lighting unit and mounting hardware have remained in excellent condition. There has been no noticeable movement, no fatigue in the mounting points, and no damage to the light housings themselves and the screen simply pushes on and off.

The addition of USB ports is also a bonus as this allows me to power my devices and navigations system.

Apart from the obligatory stickers, it still looks almost brand new, which says a lot about the durability of the design and materials used. For adventure riders, longevity is just as important as performance, and this system has delivered on both fronts.

Lighting Performance on Dark Roads

The brightness of the EnduroL8NAV lights is genuinely impressive. On unlit country roads and dark rural routes, the difference in visibility compared to standard lighting is significant.

The beam provides strong forward coverage without feeling uncontrolled or scattered. This makes it easier to read the road ahead, spot hazards earlier, and maintain confidence when riding in poor light conditions. Wildlife, potholes, and sudden changes in road surface become easier to identify much sooner than with standard headlight setups.

Despite the high light output, the beam remains well focused when correctly adjusted. This prevents excessive glare while still delivering the level of brightness needed for safe night riding.

The best compliment I can give the light set up is that my friends often ask me to lead on night rides because the lighting provides excellent visibility and helps illuminate the road ahead.

When the high beam is switched on, the output becomes exceptionally bright. The jump in illumination is so powerful it feels like I’m sending a searchlight sweeping across the countryside, and I wouldn’t be surprised if nearby wildlife start thinking it’s daylight again.

A Mod That Sparks Conversation

One of the more enjoyable side effects of fitting this system is how often it starts conversations. Whenever I stop somewhere, other CRF owners, green laners and dual sport riders tend to notice the tower and lighting setup straight away.

The design strikes a good balance between being distinctive and being practical. It suits the character of the CRF300L without looking overly aggressive or out of place. It is one of those modifications that improves both function and visual presence without dominating the look of the bike.

Final Thoughts

After many miles of use and several real-world tests through dirt riding and minor drops, I can confidently say the EnduroL8NAV system has been one of the best practical upgrades and modifications to my CRF300L.

It offers excellent build quality, outstanding lighting performance, and genuine long-term durability. Most importantly, it continues to perform exactly as it did when it was first installed.

For CRF300L owners who want a reliable tower/navigation/lighting solution that can handle proper adventure riding rather than just looking good in photos, this is an upgrade I can genuinely recommend.
